Eri-Chan no RANT!

Hello, and welcome to my pet project! I would like to make it clear from the start that I am not an artist. I am a singer-dancer-actress, martial artist, novelist, violinist, college studeant who speks three different languages and is currently taking 19 credit hours while balancing a cup of tea on her head. I will never have an excuse for a weak storyline, but I wouldn't recommend that you expect too much out of my art. I also give you no promises that I will always be on time, and I'm sure that all the people out there who read my novels are vigerously nodding their heads. Now that we have that straight, this is technically a Tuesday/Thursday release comic.

I would like to make it very clear, right off the bat, that the title is meant to be symbolic. I am not saying that any of my characters are demons! In particular, I would like to make it very clear that Yasha is a perfectly valid Russian name that does NOT mean demon. Hence why I write her name in katakana wherever it is written in Japanese. The homonym is intended, granted, but I wouldn't jump to any hasty conclusions if I were you. Gee, this rant sounded like a lecture...Sorry about that. I assure you it was not my original intention. I hope you enjoy our little project, and I will do my absolute best to keep you entertained (while admitably not being nearly so ammusing as C-Ko)... -The Management
C-Ko no RANT!

I suppose I better use this first rant space to introduce myself!  I'm Courtney, although you'd be better off calling me C-Ko.  Less typing, you see.  I have the great honor of being Ai No Yasha's number one groupie, and head of any sort of merchandice-type stuff that may arise.  I'm an English major attending school in southern Colorado, although I currently live in Arizona.  I spend most of my free time designing web graphics and wasting my life away playing "neopets."  I'll probably use this space to keep y'all posted on various news throughout the wide world of anime, as well as the more interesting aspects of my life.  Maybe I'll even have a contest or two!  Oooo... wouldn't that be exciting?  Incentive for you to come read!  Let's all have a toast to the future success of Ai No Yasha!  May it be as successful as it deserves to be and have all the fans it will ever need!  It seems like just yesterday I was reading the script, and now it's finally being revealed to all you out there.
In conclusion, I'd like to quote Largo's first rant from Megatokyo:  "To you, our audience, we make this one pledge, above all else - we shall not fail to suck!"
